Smokey Porter

The Story

A combination of eight different malts builds complex layers of dark, luscious flavour and a creamy yellow head that envelops you like a cosy blanket as the cooler months approach. But this is no ordinary porter. We’ve added a touch of malt smoked in the Riverina using the most widespread and recognisable of all Australian trees – red gum. Oddly, the red gum’s Latin name (E. camaldulensis) comes from an Italian monastery. So we think it’s fitting in these tough times to raise a glass to our Italian friends and say ‘salute’!
